High Prairie Bunkhouse
Design+Build Project
The High Prairie Bunkhouse was designed to provide extra living space for friends and family who are visiting Joe and Miriam’s log cabin getaway in High Prairie, Washington. In order to minimize the amount earthwork required and to reduce the building’s impact on the landscape, the upper portion of the structure rest on just a few concrete piers. The continuous metal roof and rustic wood siding are a contemporary take on the log cabin and act as a link between old and new.
